Your puzzles are personal time. Here is how your information is handled when you play Grid Rooms or visit this website.
The short version
No game account is needed. Puzzle progress is saved on your device. The Android app uses Google AdMob, which processes data to deliver ads, measure performance, and prevent fraud. This website has no advertising or analytics scripts.
Who is responsible
Grid Rooms: Rectangle Puzzle and this website are provided by theshaenix. For privacy inquiries or to exercise your data rights, contact shahidshamimshah3@gmail.com.
Game progress stored on your device
The app stores completed levels, star scores, best times, unfinished puzzles, daily streaks, tutorial choices, and sound, haptic, and theme settings in local app storage. Grid Rooms does not send this saved game data to a developer-operated server or offer account-based cloud sync. Your device or operating system may back up app data according to its own settings.
Advertising and Google services
Grid Rooms uses Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) and Google’s User Messaging Platform for advertising and consent choices. Ads can appear between completed levels. You can also choose to watch a rewarded ad for an additional hint.
Google’s advertising SDK may collect and share IP addresses, approximate location inferred from IP, device or account identifiers such as advertising IDs and app set IDs, app and ad interactions, and diagnostic information. These are used for ad delivery, measurement, analytics, and fraud prevention. The information processed depends on device settings, consent, and the ad configuration.
Google processes this information under its own policies. Read the Google Privacy Policy, how Google uses information from partner apps, and Google Mobile Ads data disclosure. The app does not include a separate developer analytics or crash-reporting service.
Your advertising choices
Where required, a consent form lets you make choices before ads are requested. When available, reopen these controls through Settings → Ad privacy choices. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in Android’s privacy settings. Declining personalized advertising does not necessarily stop all ads or all data processing needed for ad delivery and fraud prevention. The puzzles themselves work offline; ads require internet access.
Support, sharing, and this website
If you email us, we receive your email address and anything you include in your message. We use it to answer your request and resolve problems. Please avoid sending sensitive information. If you choose to share a daily puzzle result, Android’s share sheet sends the result to the app or recipient you select, under that service’s policies.
This website does not use analytics cookies, ad pixels, contact forms, or account registration. Fonts and images are served with the site. The hosting provider may process ordinary request information, such as IP address, browser details, requested pages, and timestamps, to deliver and secure the website. External links, including Google Play, have their own privacy practices.
Retention and deletion
Local game data remains until you clear the app’s storage, uninstall the app, or your device removes it. Operating-system backups may remain separately. Support correspondence is kept only as long as needed to resolve your request and meet applicable legal obligations. You can ask us to delete correspondence by email. Google controls retention and deletion of data it processes; its policy and account controls explain the applicable options.
Visit Your data for local deletion instructions and contact options. There is no Grid Rooms account to delete.
Security and data rights
Google states that Mobile Ads SDK data is encrypted in transit using TLS. Local progress uses the platform’s app storage. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of your personal information, withdraw consent, or complain to a data protection authority. Contact us about information we hold; use Google’s controls for information Google holds. Service providers may process information in countries other than your own.
Children’s privacy
Grid Rooms does not ask players to submit a name, birth date, or contact details in the game. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can investigate and handle it as required by applicable law.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the game, services, or applicable requirements change. The date above identifies the latest version. Material changes that require notice or consent will be handled accordingly.
